Just Add Water

Celebrating World Water Day with a new painting; 'Just Add Water' - the recipe for life.
All life came from the ocean. Our life began immersed in the water of the womb. We can't go a few days without drinking without dying. When we go to space, looking for extraterrestrials on other planets, we look first for water.
An element as ubiquitous as water shouldn't be a privilege, and our pure water should not be put at risk for the sake of short-term gain. The bridge in the painting crosses from a barren, water-less desert, representing a life without understanding the sacred nature of water, to a lush garden where life is flourishing.
Tibetan Buddhist master, Lama Migmar Tseten has stated that the famed Amrita, nectar of the Gods & immortality, IS actually water. What else could possibly leave a trail of life in its wake when there was no life before?
"Only you can bring the color in You alone breathe the hope into our world The patient, pleading ground Without you, brittle, gray and brown
Only you can bring the color in So I and mine can carry on to You can bring the color in So I and mine can carry on the way"
